At Hobbytec, we love seeing what crafters can achieve using our products and a little bit of imagination.
So we were thrilled to be sent pictures of this fantastic parrot from Brighton Children’s Parade, which took place on Saturday 2nd May.
This bright and beautiful creation is the hard work of teachers and students from Dorothy Stringer School.
They’ve told us that the parrot’s structure was constructed from willow, which was then covered with a thin layer of tissue and PVA. The colourful feathers are made of zote foam, and were attached using a Hobbytecglue gun and glue.
We’re sure you’ll agree that this cleverly-designed parrot looks great, and shows what brilliant things can be accomplished when you craft with glue.
